Yoga + Jewish Wisdom Workshop

Come explore how RUACH is building a bridge between Jewish wisdom and traditional Yoga. You might be surprised how many ways there are to come back home.

This workshop is a dialogue between ancient traditions. Move with ruach (similar to "prana" in Sanskrit), the life-force inherent in the breath, in a holistic practice-and-study experience where breath, body, and story converge. In the ancient narrative of the exodus from Egypt, it's said that a “mighty hand and outstretched arm” brought a mixed multitude out of collective bondage, and a mighty wind parted the Red Sea, liberating a sense of expansive possibility. Where the mighty hand of the story belongs to the Divine, here we will embody the image ourselves, using our own mighty hands and outstretched arms to free constricted breath and awaken vitality.
