About the event

NBS: Neshama Body and Soul
We are thrilled to welcome Jewish embodiment extraordinaire and RUACH Board member Rabbi Jaymee Alpert back to Boston to teach her innovative approach to Jewish learning and all-levels strength-training.

Neshama Body and Soul (NBS) empowers you to build your physical and spiritual strength through a gentle, integrative approach rooted in Jewish tradition. By combining an all-levels full-body workout with insightful teachings and prayers, NBS provides a supportive and inclusive space where you can grow your strength, discover your inner resilience, and deepen your connection to Jewish sources. We'll provide the mats - just bring your authentic self! "Neshama" is the Hebrew word for breath and soul/spirit, and we need both to be fully alive. Join us for NBS to strengthen your physical and spiritual core.
Accessibility: NBS sessions include body-weight exercises like push-ups, squats, lunges, and planks, all grounded in the teachings of the Torah and the Jewish calendar. While the format is designed for people who are mobile, Rabbi Jaymee offers many modifications, and every move is optional.

Rabbi Jaymee Alpert
After 20 years as a pulpit rabbi, Rabbi Jaymee is now dedicating her time to NBS. NBS offers a unique approach to prayer and spirituality - as we move our bodies, we become open to possibility and aware of what keeps us grounded.
Rabbi Alpert offers group and private NBS sessions, scholar-in-residence weekends, and multiple day intensives around the country. For more information, visit neshamabodyandsoul.org
