Join us for a RUACH Community Meditation
Jamaica Plain Edition ✨
Together, we'll explore Jewish concepts of sitting/dwelling, and of conscious return to the breath, through the lens of mindful meditation practice. We'll be guided by the wonderful Oren Kaunfer, an IJS trained teacher and RUACH faculty member who is also Spiritual Educator at JCDS, the Jewish Community Day School.
After an hour of learning, including brief meditations, we'll break for nosh and schmoozing.
This is a great event to join if you've never been to RUACH before, or if you're a ringer! There will be something new for everyone.
Accessibility Note: This private residence requires climbing a short set of stairs to enter. No previous meditation or Jewish practice required — newbies of all stripes are MORE than welcome.
About Oren
Oren Kaunfer (he/him) is Madrich R uchani (Spiritual Educator/Director of Jewish Life) at JCDS, Boston's Jewish Community Day School. Drawing on a diverse background ranging from Camp Ramah, the Carlebach Shul, and years producing animation at MTV, Oren is a fresh voice of Jewish spirit. Oren infuses music into his work and has a particular interest in creating lively and engaging t'filah (prayer). He continues to study, practice, and teach mindfulness as part of the Jewish experience.

Join us for a special RUACH community meditation at a private residence in Jamaica Plain. Registration includes an hour of RUACH's signature approach to Jewish meditation, followed by light refreshments and time to schmooze with good people from the neighborhood (and beyond).
